Sing With TCWC
The choir is currently a non-auditioned group. The only musical requirement is that you can carry a tune and stay on your own part while others are singing something different. Prior choral experience is helpful, even if it was 30 years ago and you were in high school! At your first rehearsal, Mary will take you through some simple exercises to help you decide which part would be best for you to sing.
Our 2007 - 2008 season will start Wednesday, September 5th.
We rehearse every Wednesday from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Calvary Lutheran Church at 39th and Chicago in Minneapolis. There is a parking lot in the back of the church and the entrance door is off the lot.
The first two rehearsals (September 3rd and 10th) are "open" to newcomers who want to experience us a bit prior to making a commitment and joining. You do not have to audition. Mary has a way of finding out what section your voice will fit in without it being embarassing to you.

We receive some of our operating funds through grants, but we rely primarily on contributions from the choir and our audiences for support. While we are committed to being self-supporting, no one is turned away. We fully honor and recognize all contributions, including money and time.
